Media Showcase Recap & Amazing April Happenings

AYV SJ Showcase PictureComputer Clubhouse members Manny, Eric, Laura, and Khoa did a stellar job this past Saturday presenting their Social Justice Media Projects.  Their final works will be posted later this week.  In the mean time they are preparing to present their work again on Monday April 8 for Fenway Highschool’s Project Week at the Reggie Lewis Center.

The Clubhouse has an amazing April in store with busy happenings:

C2C NEWS

April 5:  Jason Pramas, photographer and editor from Open Media Boston will be back on Friday April 5 to share his experience in photography and journalism.  Come hear his story and advice at 5:00 this Friday.

April 12:  Angie Brutus, fashion designer and Clubhouse alumna will be coming in to the Clubhouse to showcase her most recent fashion work.  Come and learn about how to combine work ethic with creativity at 5:00 Friday April 12.

April 17:  The Wednesday of school vacation the Clubhouse will be taking a field trip to Emerson College for a 4:00 tour.  Meet at the Clubhouse for 3:15 and we’ll leave together.  Email Ellen Daoust, Clubhouse-to-College/Career Fellow with any questions @ edaoust@mos.org.

DOC & DONUTS 
On this Saturday April 6 join Clubhouse members in hanging out, having some donuts, and watching the documentary “Babies”. Film runs from 4:30-6:00.
'GIRLS DAY'/GIRL POWER KICKOFF
On Wednesday April 10 From 3:00-7:00, the Clubhouse will be hosting a variety of workshops including animation, vinyl cutting and photography for **girls only**.
CAMBRIDGE SCIENCE FESTIVAL OPEN HOUSE
On Saturday April 13 the Clubhouse will be hosting an open house for the public as part of the Cambridge Science Festival. Event runs from 1:00-4:00. Invite a friend to see what the Clubhouse is all about!
